Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Wins Third Position in District-Level Drama Competition

The team of the Department of Education at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib secured the Third Position in the Drama Competition at the District Level Youth Engagement Program – Youth Fest, organized by the Red Ribbon Club, Fatehgarh Sahib.
Dr. Harneet Billing, Head of the Department of Education, shared that the initiative not only nurtured students’ artistic expression but also highlighted their commitment to community awareness through theatre. The skit focussed on HIV/AIDS Awareness, was performed by seventh-semester students of the BA B.Ed. program, led by Jaseen Khan. The team’s impactful performance combined creativity, social responsibility, and stagecraft to spread an important health message.
The students prepared under the able mentorship of Dr. Gagandeep Tiwana, whose guidance contributed significantly to the success of the performance.
On this proud achievement, Dean Students’ Welfare Dr. Sikander Singh extended heartfelt wishes to the students for their teamwork and enthusiasm. Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Sukhwinder Singh Billing appreciated their dedication and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in co-curricular activities.
Prof Prit Pal Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University also applauded the students and the Department of Education for bringing laurels to the institution and for using the platform of drama to promote meaningful social messages.
