Staff and students of Mata Gujri College pay obeisance on the occasion of Nagar Kirtan dedicated to Shaheedi Sabha

Paying homage to the martyrdom of Baba Zorawar Singh, Baba Fateh Singh Ji and Mata Gujri Ji, staff and students of Mata Gujri College participated in Nagar Kirtan with great devotion on the last day of the Shaheedi Sabha.
On this occasion, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Jathedar Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami specially joined the college staff and students in Nagar Kirtan. He encouraged the youth to follow the path shown by the great martyrs and praised the staff and students of the college for their service work during the Shaheedi Sabha.
Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh stated that all service activities organized by the college on the occasion of the Shaheedi Sabha were conducted under the guidance and support of SGPC President Jathedar Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and the Additional Secretary of the Governing Body of the college Engineer Sukhminder Singh. He appreciated the efforts of nearly 1000 volunteer students of the college who actively participated in the Shaheedi Sabha events and encouraged them to participate in such religious and social welfare activities with a sense of selfless service and devotion in the future as well.
Vice Principal Dr. Bikramjit Singh said that during the Shaheedi Sabha, the NCC cadets, NSS volunteers, students of Mata Gujri Study Circle and Department of Journalism and Mass Communication contributed with full service.
On this occasion, the Chief Secretary of the SGPC Partap Singh, President of Mata Gujri Ji Welfare Society (Regd.) Sri Anandpur Sahib Surinder Singh Mataur, Advocate Amardeep Singh Dharni, President of College Alumni Association Harpal Singh Cheema, Controller Examination Dr. Harjeet Singh, Prof. Birinder Singh Sarao, Prof. Harbinder Singh, Dr. Pushpinder Singh, Prof. Harmanjivanjot Singh, Prof. Bhagwant Singh and other staff members were also present.
