State Bank Day was celebrated in State Bank of India Administrative Office, Patiala on 01.07.2017. State Bank of India was founded on this day on 1st July 1955. State Bank has completed 62 years of its foundation. On this occasion, Banners were installed at the Main Gate. This year, the Bank has kept its theme as : SBI 62 Years Young, Embracing change for the Future.
The celebration was inaugurated by Nishi Bhatnagar, Deputy General Manager at Bank’s Administrative Office, Patiala. In her speech, she said that State Bank of India has come up in the 50 Big Banks of the World. Big Bank has big responsibility. We have many opportunities as well as many challenges. We should take these challenges as an opportunity.

She appealed to the Officers & Employees of the Bank to try their mite to bring the Patiala Module at the top in the bank.
The DGM in her speech, asked all the Officers & Employees to take a pledge. After that she did plantation.
There was provision of tea for all the officers & employees.
