State govt appoints Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) Member, Irrigation

The Governor of Haryana has appointed Rakesh Chuhan, Engineer-in-Chief, Haryana Irrigation department as the Member, Irrigation, against quota post of Haryana in Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB).
The BBMB has one post of chairman and two posts of members -irrigation and power. Member Power is selected from Punjab and Member Irrigation from Haryana.
The post of member irrigation was lying vacant since long.
