Street Plays in support of Swachh Bharat Mission by NZCC
Patiala – A ten days street theatre festival (in Punjab & Haryana State) is being organized by North Zone Culture Centre from 16th March to 27th March, 2018 at Bardrwal (Dhuri), Sangrur, Nandpur Keshon (Patiala), Samana, Patran, Mehal Kalan (Barnala), Barnala, Patiala City, Ambala City and Pehowa in support of Swachh Bharat Mission.
North Zone Cultural Centre (Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India), Patiala and Punjab & Sindh Bank, Zonal Office, Patiala, collaboration with the Natraj Arts Theatre (Regd.) Patiala staged street plays in first phase. Street Theatre Festival well organized by Noted Theatre Actor and Director Gopal Sharma.
On this occasion Natraj Arts Theatre Artists beautifully staged street plays “Swachhta: Atam Vikas Ton Rastar Vikas Wal” and “Sudhro Yaro” written by Gopal Sharma and Sarabjit Swami and directed by Gopal Sharma. The all artists of street plays are fine actors and their names are follows Jagjit Sareen, Gopal Sharma, Chandan Baloch, Vicky Chouhan, Harish Khurana, Yaddi, Manpreet.
On this occasion Bhupinder Pal Singh Kanwal, DGM Punjab and Sind Bank, Dr. Sawraj Singh International Scholar, Prof. Baldev Singh Balluana, President Sikh Budhijiwi Counsil, Principal Dr. Gulshanveer Kaur while appreciating the role of the NZCC and Gopal Sharma. Bhupinder Pal Singh Kawal said NZCC and Natraj Arts Theatre for organizing such a successful Theatre Festival.
