Students of Baba Farid College in University Merit Positions
Baba Farid Group of Institutions is well known for its excellent academic achievements in the Malwa region. It has always set a benchmark in the field of Education. Recently declared results are witnessing the benefits of adopting innovative teaching methodology at BFGI campus. In the recently declared result of Punjabi University, Patiala, students of B.Sc.(Biotech) of Baba Farid College touched the heights of glory by bagging university merit positions.
Vanita of B.Sc.(Biotech.) 2nd semester bagged 1st merit position in university merit list by securing 93.14% marks followed by Pankaj Garg who bagged 3rd merit position by scoring 91.43% marks and Bhupinder Singh bagged 4th merit position by securing 87.71% marks. Similarly, in the result of B.Sc. (Biotech.) 4th semester, Moumita Ghosh bagged 1st merit position in university merit list by securing 88.84% marks followed by Anamika Singla who bagged 2nd merit position by scoring 85.87% marks wherein Gurinayat Sabharwal bagged 3rd merit position by scoring 85.74% marks followed by Manish Rani Panghal bagged 5th merit position by securing 84.13% marks. Apart from this, Karminder Kaur of B.Sc.(Biotech.) 6th semester bagged 5th merit position by securing 75% marks.
Dr. Gurmeet Singh Dhaliwal- Chairman, BFGI said that, “Institution is getting top merit positions because of the well experienced teachers and hardworking students of BFGI.” While expressing his happiness Dr. Dhaliwal said that, “innovative teaching methodology, Guest lecture of educationists and subject experts, Seminars of other specialists are organized timely for giving practical knowledge to the students. All the students of the institutions participate in extra-curricular activities including group discussions, debates, speeches which results in academic victory.” He congratulated the meritorious students, their parents and staff for this great achievement.
