Students of World University outshine in competitive examinations

Students of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib have recently outshined in various National level competitive exams. The Vice chancellor of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh congratulated the students for their achievement. Dr. Singh said that these students are inspiration for their fellow students. He added that the University curriculum have been prepared in such a way that the students get training for such competitive exams along with their studies.
Er. Tanjot Kaur, student of Biotechnology Department has qualified the prestigious GATE-2021 with all India Rank of 218, and 98 overall percentile which qualifies her for fellowship for M.Tech or PhD at IISc, IITs and IISER institutes throughout the country. Prof. (Dr.) C. Rajesh, Head of the Biotechnology Department informed that Tanjot Kaur has also qualified many other prestigious fellowship programs and has always been a highly motivated student. He wished her the best for her future.
Not only Tanjot Kaur, but also Arshdeep Kaur and Sukhjeet Kaur the students of B.Sc- B.Ed from the Department of Education made the University proud by clearing CTET 2021. Dr Harneet Billing, In-charge, Department of Education said that both the students have showed excellent performance during their studies and have also excelled in co-curricular. Prof. (Dr.) Bhupinder Singh Ghuman, Head of the Education Department appreciated the students and teachers’ hard work.
