BJP State Vice President Dr. Subhash Sharma and candidate from Sri Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency today kick started his election campaign by paying obeisance at Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and Mata Naina Devi Temple. Talking to journalists after paying obeisance at Gurudwara Sahib, Dr. Sharma said that this sacred land is the mother of the principles of devotion and power and he will take inspiration from it and serve the people of the area with all his strength.
“In democracy, the decision is in the hands of the people and they give their verdict. However, with the Guru’s blessing, I will definitely get an opportunity to serve the Guru Nagari. We are spreading awareness about the policies of Modi government and will continue to do so, Dr. Sharma said, while asserting with full confidence that BJP will win all 13 seats in Punjab with a record-breaking majority.
Dr. Sharma also said that he considers himself very fortunate to have been given the opportunity by the BJP to represent the party to serve Guru Ki Nagri. “Today I prayed for the development of Guru Nagari and the prosperity of Punjab and with the grace of Guru Maharaj, I am going to contest elections from here”, he said. Talking about the development of Sri Anandpur Sahib, he said that it should be developed as a world-famous tourist destination. “Like Bengaluru, Mohali should also progress as an IT hub and I will definitely make efforts in this regard”, he assured everyone.
