Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa Girls College of Education, Dhamo Majra Patiala organized various activities under SVEEP Project. The week started with Declamation contest , followed by slogan writing competition on Right to vote , paragraph writing on importance of voting , Campaign on Awareness for voting in village Dhamo Majra and Mehndi competition .
All the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in all these activities. While addressing the students college Principal Dr. Harmeet Kaur Anand said that India is the biggest democracy of the world and for the successful working of this democracy, awareness on voting is very important.
She further added that being would be teachers, it is your duty to create awareness regarding voting behavior. All the staff members were also present during these activities
