Tanishbir of GNFP School wins gold in junior Asian boxing championship

Tanishbir Kaur of Guru Nanak Foundation Public School,(GNFPS) Patiala has brought laurels to the Nation,State of Punjab and especially the city PATIALA and the school, by winning Gold medal in Junior Asian Boxing Championships held in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates (10-17 October, 2019) .She won the Final bout by beating Lin of Chinese Taipei by 5:0
Tanishbir, a 15 year old girl of GNFPS has won the National Champion thrice in her category and as said by her that she made her way of success at the International Level by her dedication towards her game and avoiding all distractions like watching T.V., movies, outings ,parties .etc,
Principal Renu Hanspal congratulated Tanashbir for her exemplary achievement . She said “Tanishbir Kaur is our boxing champion is now an International Sports star. She also bagged Silver Medal in 3rd Junior Nations’ Cup held at Serbia Vrbas . (14-18 August, 2019). We also feel proud in mentioning that she was also honoured for her exemplary service in sports (Boxing) by Deputy Commissioner Patiala on behalf of Punjab Government on 15th August, 2019 in Polo Ground.”
