On May 29,2022 Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead, a social media post by a handle linked to gangster Neeraj Bawana has vowed to revenge the Punjab singer’s killing. A Facebook story posted by the handle yesterday said: “Sidhu Moosewala was ”Sidhu Moose Wala was heart, brother. Will give a result in two days”.

The post tags Neeraj Bawana, who is currently lodged in Tihar Jail facing conviction in several cases of murder and ransom. His aides Tillu Tajpuriya and gangster Bambiha, who are lodged in jail as well, were also tagged in the post.

Interestingly both Bishnoi and Bawana who are arch-rivals are lodged in Tihar jail, New Delhi.

In the post they threatens to kill another Punjabi singer Mankeerat Aulakh and gangster Lawrance Bishnoi. Lawrance Bishnoi  group has taken the responsibility of Sidhu Mooswala’s murder citing it as a retaliation to the killing of Vicky Midhukhera.

Bishnoi was lodged at a Rajasthan jail and was later shifted to Delhi prison in connection with an MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) case. Bishnoi and his gang members are allegedly involved in multiple cases of murder, attempt to murder, extortion, robbery, etc in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Delhi. Most of the gang leaders have been caught and are jailed in and around Delhi.

Even Punjab police is working hard to control the situation. Yesterday the deputed Ishwar Singh as ADGP law and order, who has ample experience in controlling the law in the state. Punjab police is also working to neutralise the gangsters in the state. Rest time will tell.
