TCS to provide free employability training to students-DC Fatehgarh Sahib

District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise (DBEE) Fatehgarh Sahib under Ghar Ghar Rozgar has roped in Tata Consultancy Service (TCS) in collaboration with National Career Service, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India to provide Free Employability Training to any graduate (BA.BSc,B.COM etc.) for SC/ST and economically backward candidates (income of below 200,000 rupees per annum).
This was disclosed by Prashant Kumar Goyal, Deputy Commissioner here at District Administrative Complex. He said that the duration of the training would be 100 hours and age of the candidate should not be above 28 years. During this training National Level Trainers from TCS would hold the classes at DBEE Model Career Centre) where in students would be trained about Communication skills, English language, Corporate etiquette and soft skills, Resume making, Interview skills, Analytical and reasoning skill and computers. A written exam would be conducted regarding this training and the applications could be submitted at DBEE (MCC) till 13-3-2019.
He said that the training would enhance the employability of the students and after training TCS would interview the trainees and the selected ones would be placed for jobs at TCS across different locations in India.
