The Teej festival was celebrated with great zeal at IET Bhaddal Technical Campus. The month of Sawan holds special significance in Punjabi culture, especially for young girls, as it arrives after a long wait. During this time, girls apply mehndi, swing on swings and express their innermost emotions. Keeping this cultural sentiment in mind, the festival of Teej was organized at the campus.

The program began with a detailed introduction highlighting the cultural importance of the Sawan month and the Teej festival in Punjabi tradition. This was followed by vibrant cultural performances including ghori, suhaag, tappe, folk songs, group dances and the traditional giddha.

In addition to these, competitions such as mehndi application, rangoli, speech, poetry recitation, musical chairs and modeling were held, in which both female faculty members and students participated with enthusiasm. Towards the end of the program, swings were also enjoyed by the teachers.

Chairman of the institution, Tejinder Singh, appreciated the collective efforts of students and faculty and extended his best wishes. He also distributed prizes to the winners of various competitions and congratulated the entire staff for the successful execution of the event.
