The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University launches Har GharTiranga Campaign

To celebrate the 75years of Indian Independence, a campaign of Har GharTiranga is being promoted nationally. In this respect, The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University,Patiala acknowledged this National fervour ofHar Ghar Tiranga in an enthusiastic way.A Marching rally including officials, staff and students commenced from Professor Gursewak Singh Physical College of Education. After covering major areas of the city, the procession reached Netaji Subhash National Institute of Sports (NSNIS) where it was warmly welcomed by the officials and students of NIS whereby Tiranga exchange ceremony was conducted among the authority members and the students as a mark of respect. The officials of NSNIS had a cordial interaction with the staff and students of The Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University, Patiala.
The function finally concluded in the University campus where the Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen. (Dr) J.S Cheema greeted the students and applauded them regarding the campaign. The event concluded successfully justifying its motive to promote the Har GharTiranga campaign. The motive of Har GharTiranga Campaign is to evoke nationalism and patriotism across India and to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.
