Three days as ‘Dry Day’ ahead in Punjab

Punjab’s excise commissioner has ordered the closure of liquor vends in the state. As per the orders liquor won’t be allowed to be sold in the state from 5:00 pm on May 30, 2024 (Thursday) to 7: 00 pm on June 1, 2024 and on June 4 only until the Lok Sabha election results are declared. Establishments can sell liquor for the rest of the days.
