Three days National Conference was organized by Institute of Nursing Education and Research (INER), AIIMS Bathinda from 17 to 19 May, 2024 on the theme “Excellence in Peri-operative Nursing Practices: Establishing culture of safety” in collaboration with Society of Peri-operative Nursing-India via hybrid mode.
On day one (17th May, 2024), 5 pre-conference workshops on Adult Basic airway management, adult advance airway management, crash cart and defibrillation, simulation on surgical safety checklist and suturing &VAC/NPWT of wound were organized with the special focus on hands on practice.
The 2nd day (18 May 2024) of the conference started with the inaugural ceremony and the occasion was graced by worthy Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar Singh, Executive Director and CEO, Prof. (Dr.) Akhilesh Pathak, Dean and Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Medical Superintendent, AIIMS Bathinda, Dr. Kamlesh K. Sharma, Principal, Institute of Nursing Education and Research, AIIMS Bathinda, Dr. Suresh K. Sharma, President of Society of Peri-operative Nursing, Principal College of Nursing, AIIMS Jodhpur and other executive members of the society, HOD’s and senior faculty of different departments of AIIMS Bathinda. Dr. Kamlesh K Sharma, Professor cum Principal, Institute of Nursing Education and Research (INER), AIIMS Bathinda delivered welcome address.
Prof. (Dr.) Dinesh Kumar Singh, Executive Director and CEO, appreciate the efforts of organizing team and society and exhorted the delegates to practice this learning to save lives. There were various plenary sessions and Scientific oral paper presentations during the conference.
Three days National Conference organized by Institute of Nursing Education and Research (INER), AIIMS Bathinda . The deliberations were conducted by the experts from all over the country and were attended by 293 delegates. The three-day mega event was well appreciated by Delegates.
