Three senior leaders of Punjab congress adjusted by high command

Congress high command today adjusted the three senior leaders- Sunil Jakhar, Partap Singh Bajwa and Ambika Soni.
All three were made chairpersons of three important committees, keeping in mind the upcoming assembly elections in mind.
AICC general secretary for Rajasthan Ajay Maken is the chairperson of the party’s screening committee for the Punjab elections. The ex officio members of the screening committee will be AICC in-charge for Punjab Harish Choudhary, Punjab Congress president Navjot Sidhu, CM Charanjit Singh Channi, campaign committee chairman Sunil Jakhar and all AICC secretaries in-charge of the state. In addition Maken will be assisted by former Youth Congress chief Chandan Yadav and IYC secretary in-charge Krishna Allavaru as committee members in candidate short-listing.
Announcing four election panels—coordination committee, campaign committee, manifesto committee and screening committee today, party president Sonia Gandhi signalled the Congress readiness for the elections, which are all set to be multi-cornered.
