Tinka Tinka Foundation Honours Undertrial of Patiala Central Jail with Prestigious Tinka Tinka Bandini Award 2024

The Superintendent of Central Jail Patiala, Varun Sharma, informed that Sonia wife of Maan Singh, an undertrial inmate at the jail, has been honored with the prestigious Tinka Tinka Bandini Award 2024. The award, presented by the renowned Tinka Tinka Foundation, was conferred on the occasion of World Human Rights Day on December 10.

Varun Sharma said that the award recognizes Sonia’s remarkable contributions toward fostering positivity and promoting a constructive mindset among her fellow inmates. “Her efforts have significantly boosted the morale of prisoners and created a transformative environment within the jail,” he added.

Speaking about the achievement, Varun Sharma said, “Sonia’s dedication to positively influencing the lives of her fellow inmates is commendable. This recognition by the Tinka Tinka Foundation highlights the power of rehabilitation through constructive initiatives and serves as an inspiration to all.”
