In a significant development aimed at ensuring a secure and orderly celebration of the upcoming Independence Day and state level function in District Patiala, the Patiala Range Police hosted an informative and interactive session for the police force under the supervision of Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Police and Inspector General of Police, Patiala Range.

The event included a briefing on various aspects such as Independence Day arrangements, law and order issues, Policing improvement advice, and the current requisites for effective law enforcement. IG Patiala Range Mukhvinder Singh Chinna and SSPs Varun Sharma, Surendra Lamba, Sandeep Malik,Gursharandeep Grewal of Patiala range briefed the DGP.

The event witnessed the distinguished presence of the DGP, Punjab Police, who engaged with personnel across all ranks, ranging from all Ranks of Police that is Non Gazetted (ASI, SI, Inspectors) officers and Gazetted Officers(DSPs, SPs and SSPs). The insightful interactions with the diverse range of Police personnel aimed at fostering camaraderie, enhancing collaboration, and promoting a collective sense of responsibility towards maintaining public safety and law and order.

One of the highlights of the event was an engaging discourse on the evolving challenges and strategies needed to tackle them effectively. The DGP, Punjab Police provided valuable insights and guidance on modern Policing techniques, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and maintaining a proactive approach to law enforcement.

To commemorate the occasion and encourage camaraderie among the police force, a Bada Khana lunch was organized by the Patiala Police. The feast provided an opportunity for officers and personnel from different units to socialise and exchange ideas, thereby strengthening the bond that is essential for effective teamwork in the field.
