To tackle Covid 19 prompt and strict action is required to save lives-DC Muktsar Sahib

Deputy Commissioner M. K. Aravind Kumar expressing satisfaction over the handling of crisis so far in district amid Covid-19 today said that prompt and strict action will be taken to save lives.
He said the health authorities have informed that the sample of SDM Muktsar-Veerpal Kaur obtained for Corona Virus is found negative.
He informed that the only patient, a Meerut resident, found positive for Corona Virus in the district is getting adequate medical attention.
“Health authorities have already explored his contacts of this Meerut resident and all the 14 contacts report is already received negative,” the Deputy Commissioner said.
“Now we have only six pending samples which are being resent today. Also the health authorities didn’t find any suspected case for the past two days,” he said.
He said that the district administrative officials, health authorities and the police are coordinating and are in touch with each other round the clock to keep a close watch over every activity across the district to arrest the spread of pandemic.

He stated that a separate control room has been setup for agriculture related queries, cleanliness of mandis’ has been done and arrangement of sanitisers, water with soaps are also been made available for the farming community.
