Dr. Gurpreet Singh Sidhu, MD of Patiala Heart Institute ( PHI) stated this while addressing a health talk on ’recent advancement in cardiac science’ at PHI on Wednesday.

 

He informed that treatment of heart disease is a team effort. The team’s targets include; better interpretation of the available diagnostics, implement guidelines directed treatment , consider best expertise through a more objective and uniform decision-making process.

The concept is gaining popularity all over the world to provide holistic and ethically correct treatment to patients suffering from various cardio vascular diseases, said Dr Sidhu adding and management of complex cardiovascular disease has changed with the development of new strategies of care.
