TSPL organizes Langar Sewa on 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur

Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL) organized langar service for more than 1000 pilgrims accompanying the Nagar Kirtan Jatha which passed through Talwandi Sabo Mansa Road on the occasion of 400th Birth Anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.

To mark 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur occasion Nagar Kirtan started from ‘Guru ke Mahal’ Amritsar and shall culminate at Takht Shri Keshgarh Sahib, Shri Anandpur Sahib in Rupnagar.

Nagar Kirtan was accorded a warm welcome by TSPL employees when it crossed the TSPL premises. More than 20 volunteers from TSPL and its business partner Steag volunteered their services for Langar distribution to the pilgrims. Senior officials of TSPL presented ceremonial ‘Siropa’ to representatives of Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC).

Speaking on the occasion, Vikas Sharma, CEO and WTD, TSPL said, “We are blessed to be located in a holy place where we get an opportunity to seek holy blessings of the Guru. We are humbled and honored to be able to serve on such revered occasions.”
