Ubha honoured with D.Lit by University of South America
University of South America gave the honorary degree of Doctor of Letter (D.Lit.) to Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha, Principal of Khalsa College Patiala. This University which is providing education to 55000 students in almost 45 countries gave this honorary degree to the principal for his immense contribution in the field of research. Dr. Ubha has contributed more than 50 books on research, more than 100 articles/ Research papers; Presentation of research papers in more than 30 National/ International/Conferences along with his continuous strive for the betterment of education while combating ever new challenges. The University has also selected various other eminent personalities for their contributions in the field of academics.
Gobind Singh Longowal, President, Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar congratulated the principal and said that it is not only a kind of personal achievement for Dr. Ubha but also a matter of pride for the institution.
Dr. Roop Singh, Chief Secretary, S.G.P.C. Sri Amritsar said that Dr. Ubha has made a remarkable achievement in the field of education and his contributions are laudable.
