UGC-MMTTC Punjabi University starts two off-line courses simultaneously to prepare teachers for academic excellence

The UGC-Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) at Punjabi University, Patiala, has launched Guru Dakshta Faculty Induction Programme and Refresher Course in “Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Engineering”in an offline mode, bringing together a diverse group of academicians from across the country.
The Guru Dakshta Faculty Induction Programme and Refresher Course in “Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Engineering” will be conducted offline, offering participants an immersive learning experience. This Guru Dakshta Faculty Induction Programme marks not just the beginning of teaching career, but the shaping of countless young minds.The purpose of this induction is to introduce best teaching practices, and foster a spirit of collaboration and innovation. And the Refresher Course in “Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Engineering” is designed to provide opportunity to reflect, learn, unlearn, and most importantly to grow together as educators and researchers. The refresher course aims to bridge the gap between foundational knowledge and cutting-edge research.

Dr. Maini welcomed the chief guest of the day, Prof. (Dr.)Narinder Kaur Multani, Dean Academic Affairs, Punjabi University, Patiala and the guest of honour Prof. (Dr.) Jaswinder Singh Brar, Director Planning and Monitoring, Punjabi University, Patiala. Dr Maini also welcomed Course Coordinators and Co-Coordinators of Guru Dakshta Faculty Induction Programme and Refresher Course.Dr. Maini said that the sessions will be conducted by eminent experts and resource persons from reputed institutions, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for all attendees.He emphasized that these Guru Dakshta Faculty Induction Programme and Refresher Course, structured in accordance with UGC-MMTTC guidelines, are part of the university’s commitment to continuous professional development.
The session was graced by Prof. (Dr.)Narinder Kaur Multani, Dean Academic Affairs, Punjabi University, Patiala as the Chief Guest for inaugural session.
