UJWAL BHARAT UJWAL BHAVISH-Inderjeet Kaur Mann called upon society to conserve energy

The first function in Jalandhar district under series of programme being conducted under UJWAL BHARAT UJWAL BHAVISH was held today at Nakodar. The program jointly hosted by PSPCL, SJVNL and Punjab Govt. was attended by more than 250 people representing all sections of society including beneficiaries of State and Central Govt Schemes. Documentary films showcasing growth of Power Sector in India were also shown at the event. The function was presided by MLA Inderjeet Kaur Mann and attended by Dy CE Kapurthala, SDM Shahkot, Addl SE Nakodar and DGM from SJVNL. Inderjeet Kaur Mann while addressing the gathering emphasized on energy conservation which will lead to quality electric power and decrease in wasteful expenditure.
She also appealed gathering to get installed the Roof Top Solar Plants for shifting to green and clean energy . The event also included Nukkad Natak and a Song presented by students of local Nakodar School. The event ended with a vote of thanks from PSPCL Jalandhar Nodal Officer Er Inderpal Singh Dy CE PSPCL Jalandhar.
