UPSC exams: Rajpura’s Shivika cracks all India civil service exams

Shivika Hans of Rajpura town, Patiala has cracked the civil services exam 2023 and secured all India 300th rank in her third attempt.
Shivika is a student and pursuing her second year in MA English from GCG, Sector 11, Chandigarh.
Shivika has done her matriculation from Holy Angel’s Rajura in Patiala district. After matriculation she joins SD School, Chandigarh and did her senior secondary from there.After that she took admissions in SD College, Chandigarh and did her BA (Hons) in English.
Her father is businessman and runs a photography shop in Rajpura and her mother is a home maker. She has one younger brother and sister.
Shivika gave credit to her success to her family and particularly to mother. She has taken Sociology as optional subject and taken classes from Raj Malhotra, Chandigarh. Later she did self studies.
Shivika added that “no one has done a government job in our family. My friends too motivated me to go for civil services exams.”
