Van Mahotsav with the theme ‘Green PSTCL’ campaign celebrated at PSTCL

In line with the “GREEN PSTCL” initiative launched in 2016, the Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) is observing “Van Mahotsav” from July 19, 2024, to July 31, 2024.
This plantation drive underscores the organization’s dedication to sustainability and fostering a greener PSTCL. As a part of Van Mahotsav 2024 celebration, saplings were planted at the 400 kV Sub-Station Behman Jassa Singh by Nem Chand Director /Administration., PSTCL on dated July 24,2024. Er. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, EIC/HIS&D; Er. Udedeep Singh Dhillon, SE/P&M, Bathinda; Er. Mohit Gupta, Sr. XEN to Dir/Admin and Er. Fateh Pal Singh, ASE/ P&M, Bathinda actively participated in the event, embodying the spirit of Van Mahotsav. Other senior officers and officials were also present on this ocassion.
It is to be mentioned that many saplings were already planted at 400 kV sub-station Bahmena Jassa Singh as part of the Van Mahotsav campaign. In view of which, Dir/Admin, appreciated the valuable contribution of the officers/employees and motivated them to do more work in the future.
Subsequently, all the officers of PSTCL have been assigned with a task of planting tree saplings on vacant land at various substations, offices, and residential colonies. This initiative contributes to creating a more environmental friendly planet.
On this occasion, Nem Chand, encouraged individuals to participate in tree planting initiative by planting at least two saplings. He stressed the importance of fostering a culture of environmental conservation, which will also help to mitigate the effects of global warming.
