Van on Conservation of Energy,effects of Stubble burning be flagged off

Field Outreach Bureau of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India in coordination with Patiala Municipal Corporation is organising second Swachh Bharat Mission Awareness Programme at Mathura Colony, Ward No. 30 tomorrow between 04.00pm- 06.00pm.
Deputy Commissioner Patiala Kumar Amit and Municipal Corporation Patiala Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Khaira, along with other dignitaries, will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively.
Field Publicity Officer Rajesh Bali informed that besides making the people aware on Cleanliness by adopting various methods, Swachhata Motivators will also be honoured. 20 ‘SwachhaGrahis’ will also be made. They will voluntarily work for spreading awareness on cleanliness in coordination with the Municipal Coropration in a particular area when ever required.

Besides, a Special Awareness Van by Petroleum Conservation Research Association of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas will also be flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner from the venue. This Van will visit various districts of Punjab in the next 60 days to spread awareness on Conservation of Energy and harmful effects of burning of Parali on human health and on the environmental as a whole, Bali added.
