Vedic Maths session held at Police DAV Public School Patiala

A special session on Vedic Maths was held today at Police DAV Public School Patiala wherein students of classes 5 to 10 participated enthusiastically. The session was conducted by Sai B Kiran, who is the President of Vedic Maths Society Telangana.
He was welcomed by the school Principal Mohit Chug. Kiran explained ways to solve mathematical problems in an easy way. He said that Vedic Maths is a system of mathematical calculations based on ancient Indian techniques mentioned in the Vedas, the sacred scriptures of Hinduism.
The program aims to enhance students’ mathematical skills, mental agility, and problem-solving abilities. The program will emphasize the development of mental maths skills, enabling students to perform calculations quickly and accurately in their minds. This will enhance their computational abilities and promote a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
On this occasion, Chug thanked Kiran for guiding the students with some quick tricks to solve mathematical problems. He added that this program will provide them with a strong foundation in mathematics and enhance their problem-solving abilities. It will equip them with valuable skills that can be applied not only in academics but also in their future careers.
