Vigilance Bureau to summon DHO Patiala

The Punjab Vigilance Bureau, Patiala has summon the complainant in Patiala’s district health officer (DHO) and health department officials’ complaint case.
As per sources, vigilance bureau has received number of complaints against the DHO Dr Gurpreet Kaur and health department officials. After that the bureau officials decided to call the complainant to bring the documents against her and health department officials to verify the complaints.
Confirming the same an official on the condition of anonymity said” the investigating officer, inspector vigilance bureau, Patiala range has asked the complainant in DHO Dr Gurpreet Kaur and health department officials to remain present on April 1,2025 at 10:00 at Vigilance Bureau, Baradari, Patiala, so that the verification of the complaint can be done.”
In recent past, DHO Dr Gurpreet Kaur has enhanced enforcement by conducting regular inspections of food markets, restaurants, and production units.
