Workshop on “Entrepreneur ship and Innovation as Career Opportunity” held at Govt Bikram College,Patiala

The institutional Innovation council of Government Bikram College of Commerce,Patiala organised a workshop on “Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunity”under the guidance of College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata in collaboration with Hit bullseye institute according to the directions of Department of Higher Education under the Scheme for Career Counselling in Government colleges of Punjab.

The objective of the workshop was to promote the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation as career opportunity and inculcate skill set required for young graduates.

The day’s event was dedicated to Rastriya Yuva Diwas. The Resource person for the workshop was Ankur Grover (Verbal Guru) from Hit bulls eye institute Patiala and Prof. Varleen from Thapar University,Patiala. The guests interacted with students to have an idea about the student’s interest in becoming an entrepreneur. They shared information about converting the young minds into innovative entrepreneurs focusing on core areas of business building like the relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship.

Workshop on “Entrepreneur ship and Innovation as Career Opportunity” held at Govt Bikram College,Patiala. A total of about 100 students participated in the program. The queries of the students were very well handled. The program was well organised by the Institutional Innovation Council of the college.Dr. Jyoti Tirthani, Dr Reetu Kapoor, Dr Rekha Rani and Gazal Aggarwal did commendable efforts to empower the young college graduates. The overall feedback of the workshop was very positive.
