World University NSS unit hosts successful dental checkup camp promoting oral health awareness

Dedicated to the martyrdom of Mata Gujri, Baba Zorawar Singh ji and Baba Fateh Singh ji, the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University Fatehgarh Sahib organised a Dental Checkup Camp at Government Middle School Adampur as part of its commitment to community welfare and health promotion.
Dr Harneet Billing, Program Coordinator (NSS) shared that NSS unit of the University is dedicated to instilling a sense of social responsibility and community service among students. This Dental Checkup Camp is part of a series of initiatives aimed at making a positive impact on society. She shared that the success of the Dental Checkup Camp was made possible through the collaboration of Dr Tejveer Sjngh and Dr Lovepreet Singh. Dr Suman Preet Kaur, NSS program officer shared that about 100 students from the school and the department were given demonstration on oral hygiene and were examined by the doctors. The visitors at the camp also discussed their concerns about oral health with the doctors.
Prof (Dr) Pritpal Singh, Vice Chancellor of the University shared his concerns on increasing dental problems among the children. He urged the students to follow a disciplined oral regime to keep their teeth healthy. He congratulated the NSS unit of the University for their effort.
