World University students from the Department of Electronics brought laurels

Major Singh and Jashanpreet Singh students of M.Tech.–E.C.E. (8th sem.) from Department of Electronics Engineering, Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib participated in the technology festival “Tech-Invent 2019” organized by Chandigarh University, Gharuan.
They competed in an event named E-treasure Hunt and secured 1st position. In this tech-fest, aforesaid boys teamed with Simranpreet Kaur of B.Tech. E.C.E.- (8th sem.) from Department of Electronics Engineering took part an event named Wireless Maze Solver (Robotics) and secured 3rd position.
Dr. Pritpal Singh, Vice-Chancellor congratulated the winners and said that participation in such event not only helps to groom the personalities of the students but also shape their careers.Dr. SS Jolly, Head and Dr. Gurjinder Singh, In charge, Department of Electronics Engineering said that the faculty members of the department motivate the students to participate in such event along with their studies. They congratulated all the staff members and students of the department for this achievement.
