World University Students Outshine in National Level Exams

The students of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, brought laurels to the University by clearing National eligibility tests (NET-2022 and GATE-2022) conducted at national level. Narinder Kumar from the Department of Chemistry scored an All India Rank -67 (JRF) in the CSIR-NET exam 2021 conducted by CSIR in collaboration with UGC, New Delhi. He also qualified the GATE-2022 exam conducted by IIT Kharagpur. Seemran Sharma, a student of M. Sc. Botany scored AIR-175 (JRF) in the CSIR-UGC-NET exam 2021. Both the students are eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs. 31000/- + HRA during their research period, besides being eligible for lectureship at national level. Similarly, Vikas Salgotra, research scholar from Zoology department also cleared the CSIR-NET exam with AIR-138. Lovepreet Kaur of Department of Religious Study also qualified UGC-NET exam. In addition to this, Hemant Lal and Simranjot Kaur from Department of Chemistry cleared GATE-2022 and C-TET & PSTET exam respectively.

Talking to the media,  Prof. (Dr.) Ajaib Singh Brar, the Pro-chancellor of the University appreciated the students’ hardwork and showed his delight over the faculty’s commitment to help the students outshine the world.  He said that he is happy indeed over the teaching patterns and the extra efforts put in by the teachers for their students.  Dr. Brar informed that the University administration ensures that the students are provided with the best of infrastructure and other academic facilities, besides a platform for overall personality development, so that they not only receive updated and market oriented knowledge,  but also their entire personality be groomed in such a way that they can confidently face any kind of situation in a calm and  composed manner. The University focuses on putting a positive impact on the overall tenor of students’ life.

World University Students Outshine in National Level Exams. The Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Prit Pal Singh congratulated the students for their success. He wished them luck and motivated them to keep working hard for a glorious future. The students gave credit to the University administration and teachers who always motivated them to achieve higher, through hard work. They said that it is due to the quality education and discipline in the University, which has brought success to them.
