World University students to present research papers at Michigan State University, USA

Two students of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mandeep Kaur and Manpreet Kaur have been selected to present their research papers at ‘ARIS (Advances in Radioactive Isotope Science)-2017’ international conference, to be held at Michigan State University, USA  from 28 May to June 2, 2017. Mandeep Kaur and Manpreet Kaur are an integral part of the Nuclear Physics laboratory of the University and have been carrying out their doctorate research work under the supervision of Dr. Bir Bikram Singh.  Eminent researcher and scholars from all over the world will be taking part in this conference and these two bright researchers will be representing the country, state and the University at the global level. Dean Research, Dr. B.S. Bhatia and Registrar, Dr.Pritpal Singh of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, also congratulated the researchers and their supervisor, Dr. Bir Bikram Singh for their achievement.Dr. Pritpal Singh said that the primary function of any University is promotion of research and our University provides world class research facilities to its researchers and students so that they are able to enter new horizons in their field of study. Vice Chancellor of the University Dr. Sukhdarshan Singh Khehra praised the efforts of the Physics department and hoped that the research work done by the researchers will not only be beneficial for the university, but will also be very productive for our society, country and the humanity as well.
