YPS Patiala Hosts Felicitation Ceremony for Board Achievers

Yadavindra Public School, Patiala hosted a special event on May 2, 2025, to mark the exceptional success of its students in the ICSE and ISC 2025 Board Examinations.

A felicitation ceremony was held at the Captain Amarinder Singh Auditorium of the school, where the school community came together to honour its toppers and achievers. The spotlight of the event was Mallik Arjun Ahluwalia of Class XII, who has brought immense pride to the school and city by securing the top position nationally in the ISC examination with 99.75% in the Arts stream. Krishiv Bansal of Class X is a state topper with 99.4% marks.

The ceremony was attended by the students from Classes VI to XII, who were deeply inspired by the remarkable stories of perseverance, discipline, and determination shared by the achievers. The following students were invited and recognised during the event:

Class XII Toppers:

  • Arts: Mallik Arjun Ahluwalia – 99.75% (National Topper)
  • Science: Divroop Kaur Sandhu – 98.75%
  • Commerce: Suhani Singla – 96.25%

Class X Achievers:

  • Krishiv Bansal – 99.4%
  • Reehan Gupta – 99.0%
  • Gaatha Mittal – 98.0%
  • Gursifat Kaur Sekhon – 98.0%
  • Vriti Sharma – 98.0%

In addition to his academic excellence, Mallik Arjun Ahluwalia has received admission offers with financial aid from Ivy League universities including the University of Pennsylvania and Brown University, as well as top UK institutions such as University College London and King’s College London.

Likewise, Divroop Kaur Sandhu, has received offers from the world’s most prestigious universities including Imperial College London (ranked 2nd globally), University of Toronto—with scholarships like the President’s Scholar of Excellence—and King’s College London.

Krishiv bansal scored perfect 100 in Science, Maths, Computer, Geography and English literature.

Speaking at the event, Navin Kumar Dixit, Headmaster, YPS, Patiala said, “The entire YPS fraternity is proud of these brilliant young minds. Today we are not just celebrating academic success, but also the values of dedication, resilience, and purpose that lie behind it.”
