YPS toddlers presented their talent in annual function

Yadavindra Public School, Patiala celebrated the Annual Entertainment Programme. Around 600 students of the Prep and Junior School (class I-V) participated in this mesmerizing show of dance, music and drama. The revered Board Members of YPS, the parents of the students and some eminent personalities of Patiala were present to witness the show.
The students of the Prep and junior school presented a plethora of vivacious and exuberant performances on the Junior School Entertainment Programme day. The celebrations commenced with the arrival and welcome of the chief guest, Somlata Kashyap, First Lady One Armoured Division and an avid reader. While her husband is busy serving the nation, she works for the welfare of the army wives. The chanting of ‘Sarasvati Vandana’ by the school choir gave a holy start to the show. Customarily, the school song was sung by the school choir.
The students of Prep-II lent an everlasting euphoria in the air by presenting a potpourri of Nursery Rhymes. It was indeed a delightful start of the performances of the day. The students of class I showcased a colourful circus scene, performing as various artists like Skaters, Gymnasts, fitness enthusiasts and the cheer leaders with a finesse.
The budding actors of class III-V performed remarkably in Hindi (Sapne) and English (Tom Sawyer) plays. The acting skills were commendable. The students dressed in bright and vibrant costumes performed on different dance forms like Bhangra, Rajasthani folk and Sufi Kathak.
The recitation of Hindi and English poems and songs was applauded by the audiences. The Junior School Headmistress, Simrit Khatra presented a vote of thanks to the chief guest, the parents and to the teachers for putting up a wonderful show.
The Chief Guest congratulated everyone for the successful programme.
