2004 batch bureaucrat appointed as PS to PM Modi

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Vivek Kumar, IFS of 2004 batch as PS to PM Narendra Modi.
Vivek Kumar will replace Sanjeev Kumar Singla in the capacity of PM Modi’s PS.
Sanjeev Kumar Singla is set to take over as India’s Ambassador to Israel. A 1997 batch IFS officer, Singla was appointed as PS to the prime minister in 2014.
