268 GNDU students placed in multinational companies

Multinational Consultancy Company Ernst & Young, one of the Big 4, from Gurgaon visited Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for campus placements of B.Tech. CSE, B.Tech. ECE and MCA students. The company selected 20 students of at an attractive salary package of Rs. 3.62 Lakhs per annum. These students will join their jobs in in July 2020 after passing out their degree in June 2020. The company selected 12 B.Tech. CSE, 4 B.Tech. ECE and 4 MCA students
With this, the number of students placed with various National and Multinational software and other companies reached 268.
The selection process included aptitude, technical test, group discussion followed by technical and HR Interviews. Around 300 students from Amritsar, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Sultanpur Lodhi, Mukandpur and Sathiala campuses appeared in the test and interviews.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu congratulated the students on this grand success. Dr. Amit Chopra, Asstt. Placement Officer added that many more companies are coming for campus placements in near future. The demand for the GNDU students by the corporate world itself speaks of the quality infrastructure and facilities available at GNDU, Amritsar. It is pertinent to mention that many reputed companies like KPMG, TCS, Capgemini, Infogain, Nagarro, SourceFuse Technologies and many others hired good number of students from GNDU, Amritsar.
