3 Punjab MPs protested at Top of Parliament House
Three Punjab Congress MPs protested at the top of the Parliament House Tuesday, demanding compensation for the families of Iraq victims.
They included Punjab Congress chief and Gurdaspur MP Sunil Jakhar, Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh and Santokh Singh Chaudhary. The bodies of Iraq victims had landed in Amritsar on Monday, who was killed by ISIS in Mosul in Iraq.The MP’s said the government has kept India in dark about the Iraq tragedy.
Its for the first time that any MP reached at the top of the Parliament House to protest.Normally the protest at the entrance of the Parliament House.
