76th Republic Day of India celebrated with pride and reverence at Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala

The 76th Republic Day of India was celebrated with pride and reverence at Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala (Punjab). The event commenced with unfurling of the national flag by Sr. Executive Director Vineet Kumar, in front of main palace building of NS NIS, Patiala.
In his address, Vineet Kumar, emphasized that each athlete should stay humble and rooted to our culture and heritage even after achieving success in career. He admired athletes for their discipline and commitment towards their training.
He also motivated staff, coaches and trainees to avoid negativities in life and collectively work towards development of our prestigious institute. National anthem was played and sung with great fervor by all the participants.
On this occasion, NCOE athletes and diploma trainees presented various patriotic performances.
The celebration was attended by eminent athletes, coaches of National Camp, NCOE athletes, academic, scientific and administrative staff, retired employees and diploma trainees.
The program was concluded with refreshments and distribution of sweets.
