85+ Rural Children and Youth graduate from TSPL Computer Literacy Centre

Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL), Punjab’s largest thermal power plant is supporting a computer literacy center in village Raipur, Mansa for promoting computer literacy amongst rural youth and children in partnership with Vedanta Foundation. Over 85 children and youth have successfully completed six month course in Diploma in Computer Application at the center and received their certificate for the same.
TSPL Computer Literacy Centre established in March’23 is offering various computer courses for children and youth ranging from 3-month certificate course to 6 months diploma in computer application course. The center witnessed a major turnout with over 100+ enrollments.
Gurwinder Singh, Sarpanch Raipur appreciated TSPL’s effort and said, “I take this opportunity to acknowledge the efforts made by TSPL CSR team along with its implementing partner Vedanta Foundation and the support extended by its management for establishing this computer center. I am sure that this will go a long way in preparing youth and children for a digital future.”
