Ryan International School, Patiala observed the 76th Republic Day with unparalleled enthusiasm, solemnity, and patriotic fervour across all grades in three special assemblies, from Montessori to Std. XII. The celebrations were marked by a series of inspiring and engaging activities that reflected the true spirit of the occasion and instilled a sense of nationalism among the students.

The youngest Ryanites of Montessori to Std. II celebrated the day with a special assembly designed to educate and inspire. The school premises were adorned with vibrant tricolour decorations, creating an atmosphere of pride and unity. Activities like dance performances, patriotic songs, and rhyme recitations brought out the children’s enthusiasm and creativity. Their remarkable performances captivated the audience, leaving an unforgettable impression.

The students of Std. III to V commemorated the day by honouring the Spirit of the Constitution. Their special assembly opened with the invocation of divine blessings, followed by a heartfelt prayer for the nation and a medley of patriotic songs. Inspirational speeches, thought-provoking poems, and a lively quiz on the Indian Constitution further deepened the students’ understanding of the nation’s founding principles. Principal Pooja Sharma extended warm greetings, emphasizing the importance of upholding the cherished values of equality, integrity, and fraternity.

The senior students of Std. VI to Std. XII celebrated Republic Day with a grand display of unity and sovereignty. The program began with the blessings from the Almighty and a medley of patriotic songs. Students delivered stirring speeches, recited poems in multiple languages, and passionately explained the significance of the Preamble. The highlight of the event was the flag-hoisting ceremony led by Col. Jeyvendra Singh, an alumnus of OTA (1992) and the Principal, Pooja Sharma, symbolizing the unity and sovereignty of the nation. The 3rd PB Air Squadron NCC cadets presented a solemn Guard of Honour, showcasing their dedication to the nation.
