After scam, Punjab cadre BBMB chief engineer transferred to HP

The secretary, Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has issued transfer orders of CP Singh, Chief Engineer, Bhakra Dam, BBMB, Nangal to chief engineer, Beas Satluj Link (BSL), BBMB, Sundernagar, Himachal Pradesh.
As per sources he has been transferred after a scam of missing of 24 number items of Zinc Mixed with brass old and used in the Disposal Sub-Divisison,BBMB, Nangal Township rocked the BBMB.
In this scam Vikas, a JE , Manjeet a store keeper has already been suspended by the chief engineer BBMB Nangal, CP Singh. He had also recommended the suspension of SDO to the higher authorities , after which the management suspended Satinder Singh a SDO on the recommendation of CP Singh.. The JE and storekeeper are Haryana cadre employees where as the SDO is a Punjab cadre officer of the irrigation department.
An officer of the BBMB on the condition of anonymity said “it seems the management has rewarded the chief engineer CP Singh for uncovering the scam, by transferring him to HP”. Moreover, the alleged theft was done after manipulating the CCTVs, weighing machines at the board store. Speculations are rife that the estimated cost of the scam is more than a crore of Rs. This is not the first time that any big scam, theft is reported. In the past, the accused officer always manged the situation ”
When contacted the secretary of BBMB, Satish Singla, he confirmed that “CP Singh has been transferred out of BBMB, Nangal to BSL, Sundernagar due to this scam”. He further informed that a committee has been formed to deeply enquire the whole issue and will submit its finding to the management”
After scam, Punjab cadre BBMB chief engineer transferred to HP . As per orders, in place of CP Singh, Haryana cadre officer, Suresh Kumar Yadav has been posted as Chief Engineer, Bhakra Dam, BBMB, Nangal.
Punjab has one post of chief engineer, irrigation in BBMB and CP Singha Punjab cadre water resources department officer is holding this post.
