DC declares local holiday on February 11

Keeping in mind the security, safety of the students, the deputy commissioner Jalandhar has declared a holiday in local Jalandhar schools, colleges, educational institutes for February 11,2025 in connection with the Religious Procession being brought out on the Parkash Purab of Guru Ravidas . On this date, the traffic has been diverted.
As per the orders, all government, private schools, colleges, educational institutes in the local Jalanhdhar’s jurisdiction to remain close on February 11,2025.
The Deputy Commissioner while issuing this order has also made it clear that on this day the examinations being conducted by the Board/University will be held as per plan.
