Police DAV Public School Patiala welcomes its new Principal

Today, Rajwant Singh joined as the new Principal of Police DAV Public School, Patiala. He replaced Savita Dhankar, who was transferred to Police DAV Sonepat.
Singh was welcomed by the students and staff at the school premises, with great enthusiasm.
Singh is a Post Graduate in Physics and holds a vast experience of 19 years in the educational field.
Before joining Police Dav Public School, Patiala he was serving as the Department Head of DAV Public School, Sector 8-C, Chandigarh. He has successfully fulfilled the responsibilities of head of the department (HOD) , Academic Head and attended numerous workshops of different fields to update his knowledge and skills. He then applied them to uplift the school he served before.
Police DAV Public School Patiala welcomes its new Principal. On this occasion, the school Manager, Dr Rashmi Vij was also present, who motivated everyone with her magnanimous presence. She wished Singh all the best and success for his new tenure. She said the school will benefit greatly from his youthful enthusiasm, positive energy and commitment.
Singh expressed his gratitude to Dr Vij and the staff of the school for their hearty welcome.
He further added to take Police DAV Public School, Patiala to great heights with his strong vision and teamwork. He wishes to implement new creative and diverse ideas to assist in the progress of the school.

The School was founded to impart good quality education to the wards of Police personnels as well as in and civilians in and around Patiala. It came into being on 21st April ,2003 inspired by the success of Police DAV’s at Jallandhar and Amritsar. The school is being administered by Punjab Police Education Trust, Patiala which is guided by the best IPS officers of Punjab Police.
