Govt Bikram College of Commerce hosted a Farewell party, Cheers to the New Journey-2025

Govt Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala hosted a farewell party, “Cheers to the New Journey-2025,” on May 2, 2025, to bid farewell to its B.com 3rd and M.com 2nd year students. Under the guidance of Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata, the event celebrated the achievements of B. Com 3rd year and M. Com 2nd year students as they prepared to embark on their next life adventure.
The ceremony began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by college Principal followed by a lamp-lighting ceremony, by college Principal and fourth-class employees of college. In a special gesture to honour labour day, the principal gifted the fourth-class employees for their dedicated service to the college Students presented the principal with a live plant and gift as a token of gratitude towards college Principal.
Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata addressed the students, praising their hard work and good conduct during their time at the college. The event featured various performances, including Bhangra, ramp walk, solo and group dances, tongue twister games, and guess-the-song games.
The farewell party concluded with a vote of thanks from the students, expressing gratitude to the principal, faculty, and fellow students for making the event a success. The program ended with refreshments for staff and students.
