Continuing the Journey: Patiala Ryanites Qualifies for Global Rounds

Ryan International School, Patiala participated in the Chandigarh Regional Round of the World Scholars Cup 2025, joining over 614 students from more than 25 schools across the Punjab region. Representing the school were eight teams—four junior and four senior—comprising a total of 24 students who demonstrated commendable academic and collaborative skills throughout the event.
Organized by Learning Paths School, Mohali, the competition included multiple events such as Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, Scholar’s Bowl, and a Debate Showcase.
In the Junior Division, Team 549 – Sehaldeep Singh, Shaurya Thakkar, and Nishesh, earned 1 gold and 5 silver medals. Team 550 – Divanshi, Guntaas Kaur, and Lakshita, secured 3 gold medals. Team 551 – Nishita, Gunreet Kaur, and Sukhmeet Kaur, performed exceptionally well, winning 11 gold and 5 silver medals. Team 552 – Amber Singh, Tanaya, and Riyansh Kapoor, earned 1 gold and 6 silver medals.
In the senior division, Team 632 – Ehumana Singh, Anantveer Singh, and Vishatan Bhagat, secured 6 silver medals. Team 631 –Agamdeep Singh, Anhadjot Singh, and Hitika Gupta, won 3 gold medals in the Scholar’s Bowl and 1 silver medal. Team 630 – Priyanshi Kapoor, Gurleen Kaur, and Sukhmandeep Singh, earned 2 gold and 1 silver medal. Team 633 – which included Mannat Dhindsa, Abhiraj Mehsempuri, and Shubhpreet Kaur, delivered an exceptional performance, winning 15 gold and 3 silver medals. Notably, Abhiraj Mehsempuri was awarded the 3rd Place Overall Scholar Trophy, recognizing individual excellence across all academic challenges. Furthermore, Team 633 secured 1st place in the Team Debate and ranked 4th overall among all participating teams.
Following their stellar performance, seven teams have qualified to represent their school in any 1 out 9 World Scholar’s Cup 2025, Global Rounds. Qualifying teams include Jr Teams 551, 552, 549, and 550, and Sr Teams 631, 632, and 633. This qualification opens the gateway for these students to compete further at the Tournament of Champions, held at Yale University, marking a significant milestone in their academic journey and global exposure.
Continuing the Journey: Patiala Ryanites Qualifies for Global Rounds. The participation in the World Scholars Cup was a valuable experience for all students. It provided an opportunity to develop key academic and interpersonal skills, including analytical thinking, effective communication, and global awareness.
