Death anniversary of IET Bhaddal founder chairman observed

The 22nd death anniversary of Er. Gurcharan Singh, the Founder Chairman of IET Bhaddal Technical Campus — a pioneer in the field of technical education — was observed today at the campus. On this solemn occasion, the religious ceremony of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Path was held.
While addressing the gathering, the present Chairman of the institute Tejinder Singh, said that the contribution of Er. Gurcharan Singh in the field of technical education can never be forgotten. He stated that the true tribute to him would be to take forward the institutions he established so that they may continue to play a vital role in the progress of the nation and society.
Registrar-cum-Director Dr. S.S. Bindra emphasized that education teaches discipline and that we must draw inspiration from the life of Er. Gurcharan Singh, who sowed the seeds of technical education, which have now grown into a flourishing tree contributing significantly to national development. He also highlighted important aspects of Er. Gurcharan Singh’s life and journey.
On this occasion, saplings were planted on the campus by the college administration, and a chhabeel was organized for all attendees.
Among those present to pay tribute to the great visionary were Dr. Gurpreet Singh (Principal – Engineering), Dr. Preet Kanwal Kaur (Principal – Pharmacy), Dr. Kanchan Sharma (Principal – Vocational Studies), Ar. Gurpreet Singh (Principal – Architecture), Vishal Arora, and Onkar Singh. The event also saw participation from local sarpanches, panches, and other notable personalities of the region.
