Harjot Bains Directs Ground-Level Inspections; SDM Nangal ensures regular monitoring amid rainfall situation

In light of continuous heavy rainfall in the hills of Himachal Pradesh and the possibility of flood-like situations in adjoining low-lying areas, Cabinet Minister and local MLA Harjot Singh Bains has directed administrative officials to conduct regular ground-level inspections to ensure public safety and preparedness.
Acting on these directions, Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Nangal, Sachin Pathak, PCS, is personally visiting villages across the subdivision. On Wednesday , he visited Village Bela Dhiani and will continue inspections in other vulnerable areas.
SDM Pathak reassured local residents that the situation remains fully under control, with all precautionary measures in place. He appealed to people not to panic and to rely only on official announcements, adding that the administration is alert and working round the clock to safeguard lives and property.
During his visit, SDM Pathak interacted with villagers and emphasized: “The administration is closely monitoring the situation on the ground. At present, there is no threat of flooding, and all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the safety of people and livestock.”
Meanwhile, Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains continues to review the situation closely. He has instructed the civil and police administration, health department, and animal husbandry department to remain on high alert and fully prepared to respond promptly to any emergency. He reiterated that the safety of people, animals, and property is the government’s top priority.
